The procedure of using berths

• The approval of using berths is done in following process.
• In order to use berths, a copy of certificate of ship registration (either certificate of water-related leisure activity ride registration or certificate of a ship’s nationality) must be prepared ahead.

1. 01 Make a reservation

   • Please make a reservation in advance
     through website or ask online or offline.

3. 02 Arrive at queueing dock

   • Please contact us as you reach marina
     and we will guide you to the waiting berth.

5. 03 Consult on usage and
   fill out document

   • After consulting on usage and filling out the request form,
     the payment needs to be made.
     (The document can be filled out and sent in advance if needed)

   • After the approval,
     we will assign a berth for you.

9. 05 Move to the appointed berth

   • Please move your boat to the appointed berth
     and we will guide you the facilities of marina.
     (Introduce water/power supply system
     and issue entrance card for mooring)

Maintenance rules of Wangsan Marina(Summary)

Regarding prohibited actions ① It is prohibited to do any of the following actions inside the marina without any reasonable cause. 1. Drinking at the mooring or entering berth drunk 2. Swimming or fishing using fishing equipment 3. Bringing in dangerous materials without the approval from managing operator 4. Posting any documents or advertisements 5. Discharging wastes due to repairing or cleansing of the boat 6. Other actions that violate the proper usage and public interest ② In case of violating any prohibited actions in article 1, the usage approval can be terminated according to the article 27. Entrance card of mooring ① The managing operator will issue one entrance card of mooring to the user. ② The deposit of the entrance card issuance is 10,000 KRW and it will be refunded when returning back the card but not when the card is lost. ③ The user cannot lend or hand over the entrance card to another party. ④ The user must immediately report to managing operator as soon as the user finds out the entrance card has been lost. ⑤ The managing operator must immediately stop the use of lost entrance card once it has been reported lost. ⑥ The user is responsible for all the accidents occurred due to the lost or rental of the entrance card. Mooring of the ship ① The ship must be moored at the designated place and the assigned berth cannot be changed without approval from the managing operator. ② If the ship with contract of using wet berth moors at dry berth during the contract period, additional fee will be added for using dry berth apart from previous contract. However if the ship moors at dry berth due to repair or cleansing and the managing operator has approved in advance, there won’t be additional fee added until the work is completed. ③ The attached equipment of the ship must be stored inside the boat. The repair of the ship ① The repair of the ship must be done on the designated place. But in case of emergency, the repair can be done other places only when the managing operator is presence during the repair and approves it. ②The user has the responsibility to clean all the waste made during the repair. Damage report of Facilities of wet berths ① The user need to immediately report to the managing operator when he/she finds any damage or deformation of the marina facility. ② The managing operator who receives the report must immediately find out the cause. And if the cause is due to the user, deputy or accompanied person, the operator can demand compensation or restoration to the original condition. Restoration and compensation If the user, deputy or accompanied person has destroyed, deformed or lost Facilities of wet berths, the managing operator can make following actions. ① Demand restoration or repair, if possible. ② Demand compensation of damaged amount if restoration or repair is impossible. Period of usage approval ① The period of usage approval for using mooring facilities is 6 months or 12 months. ② When the user wants to extend the usage period, it must be requested to the managing operator 15 days prior to expiration. ③ In case of period extension, the user must submit a request from (attachment 6) to the managing operator. Exemption of the usage fee ① The person using Facilities of wet berths for emergency repair or evacuation will receive a fee exemption. ② In case of clause 1, the managing operator will decide the scope, period and procedure of exemption. Return of usage fee If the user requests to cancel the usage after the commencing date of the contract or usage of Facilities of wet berths are restricted due to user’s liability, the operator will first calculate the fees of unused days and return 90% of calculated amount. Limitations of marina use ① The managing operator can limit the use of mooring facilities in following circumstances. 1. When the public order and customs might be damaged 2. When safety accidents or disruption of marina operation may occur 3. When the yacht exceeds the size of design criteria 4. Other cases of which the managing operater decides as inappropriate situation ② If the managing operator cancels the usage approval according to the article 23, the user or deputy might have limited usage of marina for 1 year after the cancellation. Cancellation of marina usage The administration person in charge can cancel the usage in following cases. 1. When the usage fee is not paid for more than 1 month 2. When the facilities are used for other purposes besides the approval of use or situations that violate the approval conditions 3. When the safety of mooring ships can be endangered 4. When In case the usage approval request form or other documents has fake information 5. When the user or companion violates the public order and customs 6. When doing profit-seeking activity inside the mooring without prior approval from managing operator 7. When doing any actions of article 20 clause 1 8. Any other cases that managing operator thinks it may disrupt the operation and administration of Facilities of wet berths Towing ① When a ship moors without approval, the managing operator can tow the ship. ② If the ship moors without requesting for extension after termination date, the managing operator can tow the ship. ③ All the costs occurred by the towing can be requested to the user.
