Guide on collection and usage of personal information

Wangsan Leisure Development ('wangsanmarina.co.kr') has the following policy to process the inquiries of the users regarding the personal information and protect the rights and personal information according to the Personal Information Privacy Act.

Wangsan Leisure Development will notify through website (or individual notice) in case of amendment of personal information policy.

This policy applies from November 22, 2016.

1. Objective of processing personal information
: Wangsan Leisure Development processes the personal information for the objectives below. The processed personal information will not be used for objectives other than below. And if the objectives change, prior consent will be requested.

① Processing complaints
: The personal information is processed to identify the person, verify the complaint, contact and inform facts and process results.

② Provision of goods and services
: The personal information is processed for the provision of service and contents.

③ Application for marketing and advertisement
: The personal information is processed to develop new service (product), provide customized service, events, advertising information, opportunity to participate, check the validity of the service, and analyze frequency of access and statistic of service usage.

2. Collecting personal information and method of collection
The contents of collected personal information and method of collection by Wangsan Leisure Development are as follows

- Contents of collected personal information: Name, mobile number, email address
- Collection method: website
- Basis of possession: Communications act

3. The processing and possession period of personal information

①The personal information collected with the consent of the user is possessed and used while the user uses services on the website (Wangsan Leisure Development). When the objectives of the collection and usage of personal information are completed, the personal information will be eliminated immediately.

②The process and possession period of personal information of each objective is as follows.

<The personal information related to process of user’s complaint>
- Period of possession : 3 years from the agreement of collection and usage
- Basis of possession : Laws regarding customer protection such as e-commerce

<Personal information related to record, payment and provision of goods on contract or cancellation of contract> 
- Period of possession : 5 years
- Basis of possession : Laws regarding customer protection such as e-commerce

4. Provision of personal information to a 3rd party

① Wangsan Leisure Development does not provide personal information to a 3rd party without a consent of the user. However, the personal information is provided to a 3rd party in case of prior consent of the user and when article 17 (Provision of personal information) or article 18 (Limitation of usage and provision for other objectives) can be applied.

② Wangsan Leisure Development provides the privacy information to the 3rd party as below.

- Contents of privacy information : Name, mobile number, email address
- Period of possession and usage : Eliminate when objectives of usage are fulfilled

5. Consignment of personal information processing

① In order to process personal information smoothly, Wangsan Marina has commissioned process of personal information as follows.

<Delivery of gifts>
- Commissioned company : Delivery company
- Scope of consignment : Delivery of product or bills
- Contents of commissioned personal information: Name, address, contact number
- Period of consignment : Eliminate when the objectives of usage are fulfilled

② Wangsan Leisure Development states clearly on responsibility of commissioned company regarding objectives of consignment, prohibition of information processing, technical and managerial protection, limitation on reconsignment and compensation for damage in accordance with Privacy protection Act article 26(limitation on process of personal information in relation to consignment) and supervise whether commissioned company handles the information safely.

③ When commissioned company or the scope of consignment changes, it will be immediately opened according to the policy of personal information processing.

6. The user’s authority, rights and method of exercise
The user can exert the following rights.

①The user can exercise his/her rights on protecting following personal information at any time.
1. Request to read personal information
2. Request to amend in case of errors
3. Request to delete
4. Request to stop the process

② The right according to clause 1
: The user can request to read, amend, delete and stop the process of personal information through mail, email or fax in accordance to the form of appendix 8 of enforcement regulations of Personal Information Protection Act. And Wangsan Leisure Development will process it immediately.
③ When the user request to amend the errors or delete personal information, Wangsan Leisure Development will not provide or use the information 
until the amendment or deletion is completed.
④ The exercise of right according to clause 1 can be done by a person who receives trust or the deputy. In this case, the deputy must fill out power of attorney (in accordance to appendix 11 of enforcement regulation on Personal Information Protection Act) and submit it.

7. Elimination of personal information

Wangsan Leisure Development immediately eliminates the personal information when the objectives of processing personal information are fulfilled. The process, period and method of elimination are as follow.

① Process of elimination
The information input by the user will be moved to a separate DB (in case of a hard copy, it will be moved to a separate document) after the objectives are achieved. And the information will be eliminated after it has been stored for certain period of time. In this case, the personal information will not used for other purposes but for lawful act.

② Period of elimination 
: When the possession period is over, the personal information will be eliminated within 5 days after the termination day. And when personal information is acknowledged as needlessness such as achieving the objectives, termination of related service or the business, it will also be eliminated within 5 days.

③ Method of elimination 
: In case of electronic files, technical method is used and it disables the record to regenerate. In case of paper files, it will be grinded or burnt.

8. Measurement for securing the safety of personal information 
Wangsan Leisure Development does the following technical, administrative, and physical measurements needed to secure the safety of personal information in accordance to article 29 (Responsibilities of security measures) of Personal Information Protection Act.

① Minimizing the staffs who handles personal information and education
: Wangsan Leisure Development designates and minimizes the staffs who handle personal information.

② Regular self-audit
: Self-audit is done regularly (once every quarter) for the safety of personal information.

③ Establishment and performance of internal administration plan
: For the secured processing of personal information, an internal management plan is established and performed.

④ Encoding personal information
: The personal information of the user is stored and managed after encoding so only the individual can acknowledge. And in case of important information, the files and transferred files are encoded or locked.

⑤ Limitation on access of personal information
: Wangsan Leisure Development takes necessary actions to control the access of personal information through authorization, alteration and deletion of right on accessing database. And firewall system is also used to regulate unauthorized access from outside.

⑥ Storage of access records and prevention of counterfeit
: The access records are stored and managed for more than 6 months and security function is used to prevent counterfeit, loss or theft of access records.

⑦ Usage of lock for document security
: The documents and sub storage media containing personal information are stored in the safe place with a lock.

⑧ Admission control of unapproved personnel
: A separate storage place that keeps personal information is set and admission control procedure is established and operated.

9. Designation of person in charge of personal information protection

① Wangsan Leisure Development has designated the person in charge of personal information protection as below to process complaints and compensate for damages.

② The user can make inquiries regarding personal information protection, complaints, damage compensation to the person in charge of personal information protection or related team while using the service (or business) of Wangsan Leisure Development. Wangsan Leisure Development will promptly answer and process the inquiries of the user.

10. Change of processing policy of personal information

① The policy of processing personal information applies from the date of enforcement. And when addition, deletion or changes occur, it will be notified 7 days prior to the changes.
